March decided to come in like a lamb and out like a lion with over 7 inches of new snow this morning, winter has returned. OpenSnow is predicting more snow through the weekend. With a plethora of great events as well as great skiing and riding, you won’t want to miss this weekend at Crested Butte Mountain Resort.
Enjoy longer days and the beautiful views from the Umbrella Bar at Ten Peaks during our Sunset Soirees happening over three Tuesdays this March. Enjoy a delicious buffet dinner under the sunset, including appetizers, salad, soup or chili, bratwurst with pretzels and dessert. Plus, receive one complimentary beverage.
Grab your townie, fat bike or brave this event on your summer mountain bike. Test your skills and get some thrills in the Crested Butte Winter Chainless Downhill Bike Race.
Registration is $10 for all and takes place on the Butte 66 deck at 3 pm. Helmets and waivers are required. Competitors will need a lift ticket to load the lift and at 3:45 pm. The mass start will commence at 4:30 pm.
CB Unplugged is a small venue, après experience featuring a national touring act in an intimate setting. The events will take place during the afternoon, the perfect time to settle in with an après beer or cocktail, warm meal or milkshake (we offer full strength for 21+!). CB Unplugged is brought to you by the Town of Mt. Crested Butte.

In an effort to help the local community, Crested Butte Mountain Resort (CBMR) is hosting a food drive to support both the Crested Butte and Gunnison food banks. Guests who bring 3 non-perishable, non-expired canned food items or a pack of diapers to the Adventure Center between 8 am - 12 pm on Sunday, April 2, will receive a discounted full day lift ticket for $45, valid for Sunday, April 2 only.
