It’s hard to believe it’s already the last week of July. Summer has been flying by here at Crested Butte Mountain Resort, there’s been tons of live music, wildflower walks and gravity fed adventures. Don’t miss these great events going on this week!
The Crested Butte Wine & Food Festival takes place each July. Striving to create a wine and culinary festival that complements the array of amazing offerings in the towns of Crested Butte and Mt. Crested Butte, this festival is the perfect excuse to visit this scenic and captivating area.
Mountain Manners was created as a response from locals about "loving our public lands to death.” Collaboratively conceived and sponsored by the Crested Butte Wildflower Festival, Mountain Manners serve as a relatable, easy to remember, fun and eye-catching educational campaign to teach recreators about outdoor etiquette.
Twilight Lift Hours | July 26 & 28
Twilight Hours are a great time to be exploring the resort. With unlimited chairlift rides on the Red Lady for just $8 from 4:30 - 7 pm every Wednesday and Friday!
Live! From Mt. CB is Crested Butte Mountain Resort's FREE Wednesday night summer concert series, in the base area. Join us for great tunes, a laid back atmosphere and the beautiful backdrop of Mt. Crested Butte in all its summer glory. 21+ guests can purchase alcoholic beverages, and there's plenty of room for kiddos to play, so bring your lawn chairs or picnic blankets and join us for mid-week music!
Tonight's music features Super Doppler (formerly Major & the Monbacks). Three years ago, Super Doppler bought a used van, booked over 150 shows in nine months, and embarked on their first-ever national tour.
Presented by Griggs Orthopedics, this series encourages competitors to gO ride every Wednesday with a FREE regional recreational racing series at the Evolution Bike Park.
Competitors enjoy FREE food, Landshark Lager and raffle prizes after every race at Butte 66. Downhill competitors also receive a complimentary twilight ticket for the race!
New for Summer 2017, we are proud to host a weekly farmers market on Thursdays throughout the summer. Don’t miss this opportunity to indulge in local mountain produce and charm! Crested Butte Mountain Resort is committed to supporting the local community including neighborhood farms and small businesses. Vendors from across the region will offer a variety of artisan items, produce and specialty products. Afterwards, head to one of the mountain restaurants for market inspired food and drink specials.
Gain knowledge and a deeper appreciation for wine with Sobon Vineyards from Amador County, California. Specialty food pairings from the Resort Executive Chef Chris Park and our Chef de Cuisine Nijel Chapman as well as the chance to meet the winemaker.
Crested Butte Mountain Resort invites archers of all ability levels to have their hand at a fun and FREE 3D Competition Friday evenings in July. Registration is free thanks to SITKA Gear and includes a complimentary lift ticket, free raffle and one complimentary Odell beer for competitors ages 21 and over after the competition at Butte 66.
Living Journeys is a local non-profit that raises money to provide support to those living with cancer in the Gunnison Valley. The Summit Hike is one of Living Journey's primary fundraising events that funds financial grants, emotional support and enrichment for individuals living with cancer and their loved ones. All fitness levels and ages can participate in the summit hike!
