February is competition season which means there are incredible athletes joining us for a multitude of competitive events. Be sure to get inspired and watch as athletes take on the extremes as well as the park. Crested Butte makes for the perfect venue for athletes and spectators alike! 

Freeride World Qualifiers | February 10 – 12 

Crested Butte Mountain Resort and the International Freeskiers and Snowboarders Association will host a 4 Star Qualifying event in conjunction with the Freeride World Tour in the famed Extreme Limits Terrain. Dubbed the US Freesking Extreme Championships, this event is considered the longest standing freeski competition in the country.  

Full Moon at Ten Peaks | February 10

Take a self-guided skin or snowshoe tour to the top of Ten Peaks and warm up inside the Umbrella Bar. Enjoy a delicious buffet dinner under the moonlight!

USASA Slopestyle and Rail Jam | February 11 to 12

It's time to spin, flip, cork and grind; the USASA Slopestyle and Rail Jam is here!

On Saturday riders will throw down in the park for the slopestyle competition, and on Sunday we will have two separate rail jams with one in the morning and one in the afternoon. Awards will be held at the end of each day and registration is in the middle of Treasury near Coal Breaker Coffee.

CB Unplugged Featuring Shook Twins | February 11

Hailing from Portland, Oregon, the Shook Twins are an Indie folk-pop band that features an eclectic style of acoustic and electric instrumentation, plus some inventive percussive and vocal loops to create a unique and eccentric blend of folk, roots, groove and soul.
